Summary
Now in its sixteenth year, Platts Coal Properties
& Investment conference is the gathering place for the finance, planning,
and investment side of the coal industry. Over 200 senior executives from the
coal industry attend each year, including U.S. coal producers, energy investors,
coal buyers, railroads, coal importers, and others in the industry. For 2008,
Coal Properties & Investment moves back to the luxurious Harbor Beach Resort
and Spa, located right on the beach in Fort Lauderdale, Florida. The conference
was held at this location in March 2004 and 2005.
